If You Need Help

We will always welcome your e-mails, snail mails or calls and we will do our very best to help you if you contact us for assistance, but we are limited financially and strapped for time just like anyone else.  Though we will consider almost any reasonable request, not all requests for help can be fully granted, and not all requests for help can be carried out solely by KFCF volunteers.  In most cases, if you ask us for help with trapping, caring for a colony, spay/neuter assistance, etc., it will be a joint effort between you and KFCF. We are an all-volunteer organization, meaning that we have absolutely no paid employees and no regular hours of operation.  Most of our helpers work regular jobs and care for their families just like you.  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need more information.

Below is a guide to our capabilities...

What We Can Do:

  • Give advice and guidance for caring for feral cats in your vicinity
  • Give instruction on using humane traps; We can loan you our traps with a refundable deposit IF traps are not already in use;  We can help you trap cats IF we have the manpower available
  • Give contact information for low-cost spay and neuter clinics
  • Lend a listening ear
  • Centralize efforts by inviting you to attend our meetings, help us with colonies, help us with fundraising, share your experiences with us, etc.
  • Direct you to other agencies that may be more appropriate for your situation

What We Cannot Do:

  • Take in unwanted pets or stray cats
  • Promise financial assistance or physical help
  • Provide a place for feral cat relocation

The more volunteers we have and the more donations we get, the more we will be able to provide assistance, so please consider getting involved in KFCF!
